Jenna holds an MFA from Columbia University and has taught creative and academic writing at University of Toronto Scarborough, Humber College, and Western University, where she redesigned the Continuing Studies Creative Writing program.

Her fiction, nonfiction, and poetry appear in mainstream and literary magazines, including in the LA Times best-selling The Modern Jewish Girls’ Guide to Guilt (Penguin). Her awards and scholarships include Toronto Arts Council, Breadloaf Writers’ Conference, and Eden Mills Literary Festival.

Originally from Los Angeles, Jenna has lived in New York, Germany, and now makes her home in Toronto, Canada.

In 2016, Jenna founded One Lit Place, a full-service writers’ center offering courses and workshops, editing and coaching services, and a private online writers lounge where writers anywhere in the world can network, exchange ideas and writing, and share in the writing experience.
